We know it can feel disheartening to find that certain content on your account has been removed. If you believe this was removed in error, we're here to help—you can submit an appeal, and our team will take a look.
Why content gets removed
BFF removes any content that violates our Community Guidelines. This includes things like harassment, hate speech, sharing explicit content without consent, or misrepresenting who you are. Occasionally mistakes happen, though, and that's what the appeals process is for.
How to submit an appeal
- Open the Help Hub and tap on the relevant moderation notification to see the reason your content was removed.
- Tap ‘Appeal this decision’ at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter your email address and tap ‘Submit appeal’. You'll receive a confirmation, and our Trust & Safety team will review your case.
- You can check the status of your appeal from the Help Hub. Tap on the relevant appeal to view more information.
If you don’t see the option to appeal, or if you have any questions about the process, you can contact our Support team for help.
Our team typically responds within a few business days. We review appeals carefully and will follow up with you directly via email. You can also check the outcome of your appeal in the Help Hub.
