Reporting a member

If someone behaves in a way that violates our Community Guidelines or makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, you can report them directly in the app. 

Our team will review your report and take appropriate action where needed. Reports are private, so the member won’t be told who reported them. 

To report someone on BFF: 

1. Open their profile
2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner
3. Select 'Report [member’s name]'
4. Select the option that best describes your report
5. Add a short sentence to describe your report
6. Tap "Submit report"
7. We'll review this and take action as appropriate

To report a message in a DM: 

Since DMs are not within a Group, these go right to us.

1. Tap and hold down on a message in your chat
2. Choose “Report message”
3. Select the option that best describes your report, and add a short sentence to describe your report
4. Tap "Submit report"
5. We'll review this and take action as appropriate
6. You can also block this person from DMing you further
